Pina Colada is a sweet cocktail made with coconut cream, rum and pineapple juice. It is served with ice shaken in it. It was first made by three Puerto Rican bartenders and thereafter made the country’s national drink.

If you are that person who is very careful o what they eat and need lots of protein you can make a high protein pina colada. Here is a recipe:

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of crushed ice
  • Pineapple juice (6 ounces)
  • 2 slices of fresh pineapple
  • Lemon lime soda (1 ounce)
  • Protein powder

Procedure

First you need to pour the pineapple juice into a blender. Add the protein powder and blend until it is a smooth mixture. Add crushed ice and keep on blending until it is smooth. You can now pour into a serving glass. For better taste add lemon lime soda and garnish with small pineapple slices. Just like that you have your protein rich pina colada!

Get your blender and pour all the listed ingredients in there. Blend until they all mix into one with the required smoothness.  Pour the drink into your glass, place the drinking umbrella and your pina colada is ready.
