What is breast cancer?

Cancer is the condition whereby it gets started when cells begin to grow out of control in a defective way that can not perform the right kind of functionality. Cells in almost any part of the body can get cancerous, and then can spread to other parts or areas of the body.

It is a malignant tumor that gets started in the cells of the breast. It is a group of cancer cells that can grow  and invade in to the  surrounding tissues or spread which they are said to be metastasized to distant areas and parts of the body of the body. Breast cancer disease occurs almost entirely in women.

Causes of breast cancer:

Like many other types and forms of cancer, exact cause of breast cancer is not known yet. However, it is believed that certain hormonal changes cause women to suffer from breast cancer. The most common cause or reason of the development of hereditary breast cancer is an inherited mutation in the genes of BRCA1 and BRCA2 .There are certain risk factors that are associated with the breast cancer and have been identified after the research.

TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER:

The diagnosis of the  triple negative breast cancer mean the three most common types of the receptors  that are known to fuel the most breast cancer The growth estrogen, the  progesterone, and HER-2/neu gene do not present in the cancer tumor.  It means that breast cancer cell have been tested negative for the hormone epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2), the estrogen receptors which is ER, and the progesterone receptors  which is abbreviate as PR.  As the tumor cells do not have the necessary receptors, some common treatments such as hormone therapy and the drugs that target the estrogen, the progesterone, and the HER-2 became ineffective. Using the chemotherapy to treat the triple negative breast cancer is a very effective option to get rid of disease. In reality, the triple negative breast cancer can respond even better to the chemotherapy in its earlier stages as compare to many other forms of the cancer.

Risk factors for breast cancer:

Listed below are the risk factors for breast cancer:

Females are more likely to suffer from breast cancer. However male can also suffer from this disease because of the reason that very low amount of female hormones which are progesterone and estrogen are produced in male’s body. Breasts are composed of the 3 types of tissues that are fatty tissue, the fibrous tissue, and the glandular tissue. Breasts are said to be dense if they have greater amount of all of these three types of tissues.
